With its central location, you can also snowshoe, cross-country ski, or mountain bike right from your door to Dewey Mountain Recreation Center. After a day outside, fire up the brand-new gas grill on the back deck and enjoy dinner surrounded by the quiet woods.

The well-stocked kitchen includes an air fryer/toaster oven, crockpot, coffee bar, kitchen table, and banquet seating; everything you need for extended stays. There’s no dishwasher, which might be the only bit of “roughing it” you’ll experience at High Peaks Cottage!
A separate TV and reading room offers a quiet place to relax, with a loveseat that pulls out into a bed (with mattress topper) for additional sleeping space.
The laundry room and second bathroom also provide generous storage for jackets, boots, and outdoor gear, making it easy to settle in during all four Adirondack seasons.
