About

We are a family of six living in the Philadelphia suburbs who love the outdoors. When we were looking for a place to spend time as a family, we searched all over the Northeast for a location that offered true year-round outdoor adventure, but near an authentic and charming downtown.

An area where you could access remote, mountain wilderness while being close to restaurants, bars, and shops. Saranac Lake and the Adirondack High Peaks exceeded our expectations.

With over 2k miles of hiking, 46 peaks over 4000 feet, 3000+ lakes, picturesque rivers, skiing, two lively downtowns, Olympic sites… you get the point. You need more than a week to explore the area, so come and stay for a month, settle in, and explore all that the Adirondack High Peaks have to offer.

Throughout the year, the community brings people together with events that make living in Saranac Lake even more memorable, including:

We hope you’ll come and stay for a while, settle into the rhythm of the mountains, and experience the High Peaks the way we’ve grown to love them: not just as visitors, but as locals during your stay.

Did you know: The Adirondack Park is larger than Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Glacier, and the Great Smokies National Parks combined!
